Certification
The XL2 is certified under FAR Part 23.
Appropriate certification for all other
countries will follow.
Atlanta is our Aircraft Certification Office
(A.C.O.). Kansas City is the small aircraft
directorate.
Design
The design goal is to provide a 2 seat
aircraft that is safe, comfortable and
economical with performance characteristics
of much higher priced aircraft. To achieve
the aircraft design goals in terms of
weight, performance, cost of materials and
production time, Liberty has incorporated
not only the best materials for the
particular task but also the latest
processing and manufacturing technology.
